A 2 CD historical retrospective of Gregorian Chant's origins and influence. Showcasing music from the presocratic era to 20th century choral music.
The idea from the start was to use an image of Saint Gregory, the father of Gregorian Chant, on the cover of the recording. Completely appropriate. One problem: the "best" image of St. Gregory was a severely damaged Fresco. After many hours of reconstruction, the fresco was realized. The original photo of the fresco is shown below the completed cover image.
